«Laxton Common»: jerome rigaud

A typographic revival coming from a 1635 map of Laxton, in the Nottinghamshire.
The village is best known for having the last remaining working open field system
in the United Kingdom, where in a certain way like in Open Source, locals share
the common benefits of their common work.

The work on this typeface has been iniated
at the occasion of Disclosures 2 at Nottingham Contemporary.
You can download the laxton-common-revival vector drawings.
